Nadim M Nsouli, Founder & CEO, Inspired Education Group
Nadim M Nsouli founded Inspired in 2013 with the goal of creating a leading global group of premium schools. Starting with Inspired’s first acquisition of Reddam House, a leading group of schools in South Africa, Nadim rapidly expanded the group globally via a series of acquisitions and building greenfield schools while maintaining the focus on only having the best schools around the world as part of the group.
Prior to founding Inspired, Nadim was a partner at Providence Equity Partners, a private equity firm with $40 billion under management. Nadim was also a member of Providence's Global Investment Committee and led Providence's Education investment efforts in Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining Providence in 2006, Nadim was the European head of The Gores Group, a special situations private equity fund based in Los Angeles. Previously, Nadim was a member of the media and telecommunications investment banking teams of Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan in London. Nadim started his career in New York as a corporate lawyer at Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue.
Nadim received a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD with distinction, a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) from Georgetown University.
Ashley Harrold, CEO of Inspired Online Schools
Ashley Harrold is the CEO of Inspired Online Schools. He oversees the operation of King's InterHigh, the world's leading British curriculum and IB Diploma online school, and Academy21, a market leader in alternative provision in the UK.
Ashley qualified as a teacher at University College London's renowned Institute of Education, beginning his education career in London before ascending to a school leadership position in Sussex. After six years as a Headteacher, Ashley joined King's InterHigh, where he excelled as Executive Headteacher before rising to his current role.
Holding both the NPQH and NPQEL, two world-respected British qualifications for headship and executive leadership, Ashley brings a wealth of experience. He is also deeply committed to fostering an environment where all students can excel, no matter their circumstances.
Ashley sees learning as a transformative force for good, and technology as a tool that can unlock the potential of each student. Under his direction, Inspired Online Schools continues to grow as a leader in education where every learner is supported to thrive.
Nick Wergan, Global Education Director
Nick is the Global Education Director for Inspired, based out of London, United Kingdom. Nick joined Inspired after six years as Headteacher at Steyning Grammar School and was elected Chair of the Boarding Schools’ Association in 2019. He was appointed a National Leader of Education by the UK Department for Education and founded the Pavilion and Downs Teaching School Alliance. Following a successful international career in Investment Banking (leading Emerging European Equity teams at US, UK and European investment banks, including Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and HSBC), Nick trained as a teacher at Pembroke College, Oxford in 2004. Nick is an elected fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, UK National Teaching Awards Winner in 2007 and received an MA in Education Studies from the University of Sussex.
Nick is a Board member of the Safeguarding and Child Protection Association.
Ed Coup, Academic Director
Edmund Coup is Academic Director for King's College Online and brings his significant educational experience to the design, development and delivery of our launch intake in APAC.
Edmund grew up and attended school and university in Auckland. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Chemistry, he went on to complete a Diploma of Teaching. Edmund has worked in state, integrated and international schools and has also spent time lecturing at university in Chemistry Education. He has also taught Mathematics, Physics and Psychology.
Edmund joined ACG Parnell College in 2008 as the Curriculum Coordinator of Senior Science. Two years later he was offered the position as Deputy Principal of ACG International School, Vietnam (now AIS). He returned to ACG Parnell College in 2012 where he is now Associate Principal.
